Birding in Grenada can be quite a rewarding experience. Over 160 species of bird have been recorded here including migrants, endemics and rare species. Apart from our year round residents there are a number of species that either make Grenada home for the winter months or pass through on their journey farther south. The birds of Grenada include species like the Grenada Tanager and the Grenada Dove, both endemic to the island, along with a host of endemic subspecies.
